Sun Tunnels, June 21, 2005
The Sun Tunnels, a permanent astrological sculpture located in the west desert of Utah. Four 9 foot in Diameter cement pipes are lined up in an X formation to frame the sunrise on the longest day of the year, the summer solstice.

Will Calhoun, drummer and Doug Wimbish, bass of the band Living Color from New York were in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival. They looked me up for a didj lesson. Great guys, unbelievable musicians and they both have independent projects in the works.
